Prof. Carlo Naldi Vice Rector Politecnico di Torino Ladies and Gentlemen, dear Colleagues, Let me first thank you all for the opportunity I have to present my Institution to such a qualified audience. My name is Carlo Naldi and I am the vice Rector in charge of International Relations at Politecnico di Torino. I will first describe what Politecnico di Torino is, giving relevant figures, showing its organization in terms of education and research. Then I will focus on what we consider our strengths, namely innovation in education and research, the links with the social and economic environment and internationalization.

America Latina PIemonte Politecnico Goals Strengthen presence of Piedmont in LA Attract LA best students to Politecnico Partners National and local government, industrial board, chamber of commerce, bank foundations, Boella Institute Funding Politecnico also launched some ambitious international projects. ALPIP (America Latina Piemonte Politecnico) aims at strengthening the presence of Piedmont in Latin America, at attracting the best Latin American studnets to Politecnico, at improving the relations between local players and at setting up partnerships. ~8.3 M€ in 8 editions, starting from 2001 4225 applications - 406 scholarships 118 scholarship awarded to Brasilian Results
