Waiting for the Master In the first half of this chapter, Jesus commands His disciples to give up their possessions, their self interest, even their lives, to follow Him...for the things they give up are not life…but He is.

The Foolishness of Greed Foolish in failing to recognize where his wealth had come from. (Jas. 1:16-17) Foolish in not understanding the purpose of abundance.
