I. What is God’s will for me?  1. To Follow the Law of the Lord  David said in Psalm 1:1&2  “ ……But his will in the law of the Lord and in His will he meditates day and night.  Everyone on earth during the time of Abram drifted away from God, except one person.  Read (Joshua 24:2&3)  in His will he meditates day and night.

I. What is God’s will for me?  2. To be Sanctified  “It is God’s will that you should be sanctified.” (1 Thess 4:3)  Sanctified  1. To make holy; set apart as sacred; consecrate.  2. To purify or free from sin: Sanctify your hearts.  What is the most important characteristic of God’s call to Abram. Read (Gen 12: 1-5)

I. What is God’s will for me?  3. To be Thankful & Happy.  Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you and Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).  The story of my.  Read (Ephesians 5:15-21)

I. What is God’s will for me?  4. To do good.  “For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.” (1Peter 2:15)  There will always be people who say negative things about us.  But only by our good actions. We can prove their words to be false.  Doing what is good is the best way to please God while stopping the gossips!  Read (Titus 2:7&8)

I. What is God’s will for me?  1. To Follow the Law of the Lord  2. To be Sanctified  3. To be Thankful & Happy.  4. To do good.

II. God’s will Vs My will.

 Predestination, Free will of men & Foreknowledge of God  Free will of men  In our daily life we do make choices. It is up to us to follow God's path or to live in sin, away from Him.  Gen 12:4 “ So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him”  Example Daniel  Daniel 1:8 “ But purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…….”  Daniel’s will followed God’s will that helped him to have a "strong will.“

II. God’s will Vs My will.  Abram’s will followed God’s will that helped him to have a "strong will.“  My will + God’s will = Strong will.  My will + God’s will help me to do well.  Example Cain and Abel  Gen 4:6 “ Why are you angry? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

II. God’s will Vs My will.  St. Paul explain to us God’s will and his will.  Every time…..  Gal 2:20 “ It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me”  “ Thy will be done”

III. Knowing God’s Will  1. Pray to know God’s will  Ex. Zackarias & Elizabeth.  Luke 1:13 “ But the angel said to him ‘do not be afraid Zacharias, for your prayer is heard”  Remember one thing God is very Patience  2. Imitate Jesus Christ.  3. Get and Stay connected to the body of believers.

III. Knowing God’s Will  4. Be willing to accept any condition.  5. Make sure your decision is according to the principles laid down in the Holy Bible.  6. Following prayer, you need to feel a sense of peace concerning your decision.  C.S. Lewis once said, “There are two types of people in this world: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, “Fine, have it your way…”
