High School Scholars Opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to experience college and earn credit Students may choose from more than 70 courses Costs are significantly discounted through scholarship underwritten by The University of Scranton

Admission Requirements Students who have completed their sophomore year are eligible to apply Minimum GPA 3.3 or a B+ average 1000 SAT scores (if applicable) Demonstrated readiness for college level work
Application Requirements Completed application ($20 application fee) Official High School transcript Recommendation from guidance counselor
Dual Enrollment Grant funded program provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Education Goal: Increase high school student exposure to college level work Locally administered through your high school Provides financial support for student participation in the High School Scholars Program
Dual Enrollment College courses can be used towards high school graduation requirements – “Double Dipping”
