Table 1 Faculty Staff  There are 13 Thai lecturers and 13 Korean lecturers in 9 universities Teaching Korean language courses.  Most of them hold master degrees in Korean Language.  One Ph.D. Korean instructor at SU.  Two Ph.D. candidates from BUU studying in Korea.  One Ph.D. candidates from PSU studying in Korea.  Some are B.A. instructor volunteers from KOICA.

Table 7 Progress in Korean Language Teaching  Korean language teaching was delivered for the first time in 1986 at Prince of Songkla University (Pattani) as electives at Prince of Songkla University (Pattani) as electives.  At present, there are 9 institutes providing Korean language courses.  Three universities offer courses as majors, minors, and electives.  Five universities offer courses as minors and electives.  Nine universities offer as electives only.

The most frequent use is Korean language textbooks.  However, the high demand on every kind of materials are in need especially for Korean language.
