Food industry findings Processors are in need of more product launch and market access support from the Centres. Looking for expertise throughout the entire commercialization process. Medium and large companies looking for partners to assist them with new technology advancement. New product runs and experimentation could be handled more cost effectively at a food Centre rather than interrupting processing schedules.
FOODTECH Objectives Establish a national chain of collaborative “Centres of Technical Expertise” (CTEs) that link directly to the strategic needs of the industry while supporting government innovation and prosperity initiatives. Optimize investment in capabilities and capacities in order to serve the innovation and commercialization needs of the industry.
FOODTECH Objectives Become the globally recognized “technology commercialization provider of choice” and portal for industry to develop value-added products through partnerships, quality service and an understanding of industry needs and market opportunities. Be the leading advocate for innovation, emerging technologies, commercialization best practices, and technology transfer investment in food and bio-products.
