1 Preliminary stuff Summer09 ppMuMuX sample with CMSSW_3_3_2 –it requires opposite charge generated dimuons from heavy processes or K, pi, K0 L decays in flight Muon properties: –Pt > 2.5 GeV –Eta < 2.5 –Muon has a track Tracker + Global –“Muon has a track” does not imply is a Tracker Mu, it can be Global Mu without beeing Tracker Mu Muons are defined –Prompt if R xy < 4.4 cm –DiF (decays in flight) if R xy > 4.4 cm
