Jack Griffith London was born out of wedlock on January 12, 1876, in San Francisco. In 1916 he died of gastrointestinal uremia and renal colic.

 Jack London made Call of the Wild in 1903 it was published world wide.  It became the best-seller in 1913.

 In 1897, he packed up to leave. When he left he devoted himself to writing.  He began to write newspapers for the Russo- Japanese war and Mexican Revolution.  Within two decades he had written forty-seven books.  In 1913 he was the most paid author for writing Call of the Wild and White Fang.
