Physical Science April 18, 2014  HW: Write what you learned from pH lab.  W-U: What is the purpose of pH scale?  Obj.: pH lab observations and discussion, read Acids and Bases are Everywhere  PB: Write agenda, W-U, lab, article reading

pH Lab Observations 1.Write a visual description of each container on your table. Discuss what you wrote w/ lab partners and information. 2.Hold the container 12 inches away from chest, and use opposite hand to waive over top of container towards your face. What do you smell, write observations. 3.DO NOT TASTE the LIQUID!!!! 4.Dip your index finger in the liquid, rub against thumb. What observation can you make. 5.Take one of the strips and dip it in solution, compare to pH scale in text, what is solution?
