Loneliness “An unpleasant feeling in which people experience a strong sense of emptiness and unhealthy solitude.” A spiritual state of being separated in fellowship from God first, and from spiritual connection with other people.

“Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds — his name is the Lord — and rejoice before him. 5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. 6 God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; ~ Psalm 68:4-6

When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered, 22 I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you. 23 Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. 24 You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
