Summit the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in the Ultimate Challenge! CLIMB 3 Peaks Challenge Nishkam Civic Association | Charity No

The challenge is on to climb the three highest peaks in Britain: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. It is a tough challenge but one that, with training and careful planning, is achievable. Many teams will aim to complete the challenge in 24 hours or less, others will take closer to 30 hours. The challenge starts at the foot of Ben Nevis (1,344m/4,409ft) in the spectacular setting of the Scottish Highlands. It finishes at the foot of Snowdon (1,085m/3,560ft), North Wales. In between teams will visit Scafell Pike (978m/3,206ft) in the Lake District. Participants have to cope with changing clothes, eating, drinking and even sleeping as they travel to their next destination by road. The Challenge

Training Malvern Hills (6 Miles – 10 Miles) – A local walk which will only take an hour to get to. It can get windy and wet as it’s more exposed as we will walk across the top of the Malvern Hills. Sat 31 st May 2014 Sun 1 st June 2014 Scafell Pike (6.5 Miles) – This is a hard walk, very stony with lots of boulders. It will be a long long day and show how the minibus will have to negotiate a lot of windy roads to get there and between the other peaks. Sat 28 th June to give us time to recover (very long day) Sat 5 th July to give us time to recover (very long day) Snowdon (11 Miles) – This is not going to be your standard walk, the plan is to simulate climbing 2 peaks on the same day by walking 11miles, climbing Snowdon twice, from 2 different approaches, total 1435m ascent. Sat 2 nd August to give us time to recover (long day) Sat 9 th August to give us time to recover (long day)
