Have you ever been in trouble this term? ◦ “..because I beat my friend by accident” ◦ “I have not been in trouble because I do my homework and no bullying” Why do you deserve this position? ◦ “I want to be a ‘roll’ model” ◦ “I like to help kids younger than me to read better and to be perfect in their education” ◦ “I always want to try spectacular new things” ◦ “My sister is autistic and needs help so I want to help her and see how she interacts with other kids.”

Accountability  Students must sign in everyday  End of each term teachers assess students based on: ◦ Responsibility: Comes to class on time ◦ Works well and is patient with students ◦ Takes his/her position seriously

Do: ◦ Encourage all students to take part ◦ Have clear expectations and procedures ◦ Ensure that all teachers are on board ◦ Meet with the new hires and explain the importance of their job ◦ Have accountability Don’t! ◦ Attempt to interview everyone all by yourself ◦ Have groups greater than four per class
