The Thomson Reuters EIKON This is the first of its type in the UK and Ireland. Indeed it is one of the most sophisticated finance and economic data resource facilities in the world. At its heart are fifteen Thomson Reuters EIKON enabled terminals and eight DataStream terminals. The EIKON platform allows for real time observation of the current trading in equity, foreign exchange, commodity and fixed income markets. The system allows users to view the current order book in multiple markets and simulate trading across those markets, when linked to Excel and other data analysis software. The EIKON trading floor represents an ongoing annual investment of nearly two hundred thousand pounds in facilities, software and connectivity.
