THE HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL «Nyandomskaya special (correctional) secondary boarding school» was founded in There are 105 pupils from Nyandoma, Kargopol, Konosha and Plesetsk. 25 pupils are orphans.

Material and technical basis  Our school has got rooms of Home Economics, Maths, Russian language, Information Technology, 2 sewing workshops, 2 joiners workshops, a workshop of machines, a binding workshop, a gym, a trainers room and rooms of a speech therapist and a psychologist.  Pupils hare meals in the dining – room, which is very cosy and clean.

Our town  Nyandoma is a small and quiet town which is situated in the south – west of Arkhangelsk region.  A small river and our town have got the same names «Nyandoma» in Finnish means «rich land».

Our town There is a railway enterprise, poultry factory, a lot of enterprises of timber cutting in our town.

Kargopol  Kargopol is situated on the left of the Onega river, not far from Lache lake. There are 78 kilometers from Nyandoma to Kargopol.  Kargopol is famous for its magnificent ancient churches, spectacular landscapes and folk crafts, for example, clay toes.
