¿Cómo eres? ¿Cómo es? “SER” & Adjectivos “To Be” and Adjectives Purpose: to talk about what you and others are like & to ask people about themselves or others

Forms of SER: “to be”-am, is, & are English Spanish Pronoun/Verb Pronoun/Verb I am – (yo) Soy You are – (Tu) Eres He, she, it is – (el/ella) Es We are – (Nosotros) Somos They or You all are – [Ellos(as)/Ustedes] Son ¿Cómo eres? What are you like? ¿Cómo es? What is he / she like?

When to use “ser”: 1. to tell the Origin of a person or thing When to use “ser”: 1. to tell the Origin of a person or thing (Soy de ponchatoula: I am from ponchatoula) 2. for Identification (Mi nombre es… : My name is…) 3.
