Ditton Priors Annual Parish Meeting 2007 Agenda Report from the Chair on the activities of Ditton Priors Parish Council 2006/7 An opportunity to look at the displays from local organisations A summary of issues raised through the ‘Issues Board’ Close of meeting

Parish Plan Distributed in May 2006 to all households Steering the work of the DPPC in 2006/7 An evolving action plan –Environment –Tourism –Employment –Housing –Transport and road safety –Social activities and life long learning –Communication

BDC Local Plan Adopted in July 2006 Confirmed that –Ditton Priors is not a ‘Key Settlement’ –the development site in the centre of the village is therefore not included within the plan The plan’s objectives are now: –to preserve and enhance the character and appearance of the village –to retain and develop small scale employment opportunities –to maintain the role of the settlement as a centre for local services –to improve the quantity and quality of the open spaces
