Stuart Highland Pipe Band

Since 1965, Stuart Highland Pipe Band of Wilmington, MA, has entertained audiences throughout the Eastern United States and Canada. The Stuart Highland Pipe Band is available to perform for parades, festivals, and other events as a full band, in small groups such as trios or quartets, or as individual performers. The Stuart Highland Pipe Band was founded in 1964 by members of The First Parish Church of Bedford Massachusetts after the minister suggested that the men of the parish start a band. The band they intended to start was to be a banjo band, until they discovered how difficult it was to find proper instruction.
