People must say the Rosary. Let them continue saying it everyday.”

…is a response to the request that Mother Mary made at Fatima nearly 100 years ago

 To assist Mother Mary in attaining the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart in the world by daily praying the Rosary according to Her request at Fatima in 1917, recognizing that the Rosary is our weapon in the spiritual warfare that is raging in the world today.

 To pray for peace, conversion of sinners, and in reparation for our sins and the sins of the world.  To pray in SOLIDARITY on the same day with the YOUTH from the different parishes across the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and those from parishes throughout the world.  To promote Family Prayer within the home, within the Parish, and within a community.  To empower the YOUTH by promoting their visibility, leadership, and active participation in the Church.  To pass on the Roman Catholic Church Traditions to the YOUTH.

 WHAT: YOUTH leading the Rosary, and Divine Mercy Chaplet with a priest or deacon for the Benediction  WHERE: Inside the Church  WHEN: October 8, 2011 (or every second Saturday of October until at least 2017, the 100 th year anniversary of Fatima)

 The Pilgrim Virgin is brought to 4 parishes within a deanery or region where in each Parish, a mystery of the Rosary is said followed by the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Benediction by a priest or deacon.  Procession into the Church by the Banners, Cross, & Candle Bearers, the 5 children representing the first 5 beads of the Rosary, the Knights of Columbus (optional), the Pilgrim Virgin & the Priest/Bishop or Deacon.  At each Parish, each bead of the Rosary will be represented by a YOUTH and will lead the Church in prayer by saying the first part of the “Our Father”, “Hail Mary”, and “Glory Be”. Each youth will also include his/her personal petition before leading the prayer.  A designated youth reads one of the 5 Fatima messages before each decade.  After the Benediction, the Living Rosary is ended and the Pilgrim Virgin is brought to the next church where respective Youth and families are awaiting Her arrival.  At the last Church, the Pilgrim Virgin stays for the Saturday Vigil & for all the Sunday Masses. Fellowship & celebration follow in the Parish Hall after the Benediction.
