Sant Ajaib Singh ji ( ) “Dear ones, the only way to end your suffering is by going within and doing the devotion, by connecting yourself with the Naam. Naam is the only thing which can put an end to your suffering; there is no other thing.”

“Saints and Mahatmas do not have the mission of increasing the number of their disciples. They do not have a desire to have a huge number of disciples, because they know that one devoted, faithful, disciple is worth more than thousands of unfaithful disciples.”

“Swami Ji Maharaj lovingly explains to us that we should search for a Mahatma who has earned the Shabd and who can give us the perfect Shabd. Only a perfect master can give us the perfect Shabd. If we have not searched for a perfect Master and if we have not received the perfect Shabd, then we will not be able to get rid of the cycle of births and deaths. Swami ji Maharaj lovingly explains to us that unless we get the Shabd, our soul is blind. And since our soul is blind she does not know where to go. That is why she is always in deep illusion.”

“If we have gotten the Naam Initiation from the Master, it is our responsibility not to waste our human birth. This is a precious gift which God Almighty has given to us, so it is our responsibility not to lose this in the pleasures and passions of this world- we should not waste it in the jungle of this world. By doing the meditation of Shabd Naam, we should make our life successful, and take our soul back to the real home.”

“The only benefit of coming to the Master, or coming to the Satsang of the Master is that we should adopt the good qualities which the Master has, because Master has worked very hard and He has struggled to achieve all those good qualities which He has now. And we should develop those good qualities one by one, and we should give up our bad habits one by one.”

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do we gather grapes of thorn, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. MATTHEW 7:15-20

When Masters come, They cry, with Their hands up, “Come on-let’s go home!” God makes the arrangement. You have been long in exile. Why don’t you come back and enjoy your true home? Fortunate are those who are to come back home. Even when the door is opened, we don’t like to go. -Maharaj Kirpal Singh

“These are selections by God…. They know when to come and when they are going back. They won’t let you down, mind that.” -Maharaj Kirpal Singh

The truly humble man accepts everything as coming from the hands of God. He knows that in him there is nothing praiseworthy. All the good that is in him is from God, and the praise that men give him belongs to God. When the young man called Jesus “Good Teacher,” Jesus quietly said, “Why call me good? There is none good but God.” “ Humility,” says Lacordaire, “does not consist in hiding our talents and virtues, in thinking ourselves worse and more ordinary than we are, but in possessing a clear knowledge of all that is lacking in us, and not exalting ourselves for that which we have, seeing that God has freely given it to us, and with all His gifts, we are still infinitely of little importance.” So the truly humble man may accept sometimes the praise which men give him, and quietly passes it on to God, keeping nothing for himself. -Maharaj Kirpal Singh

“You have the strong Master with you, and on your back is the strong hand of the Master. Why should you think that you will never go inside, that you will never go within, that you will never rise above? You should have firm determination to go in the within, and you should have love and affection for the Master. You should have faith in Him. These three things are the stepping stones, they are the foundation of your Spirituality. If you have all these three things :love, and faith in the Master, and firm determination, then there is no question of not going within. Make your determination a little bit stronger and try to rise above. That will also help you a lot. And go within just a little bit and then you will see how the flames of love are burning in your within. Reach the Eye centre and then you will see how your Master is waiting for you. Master never wants to delay our journey to Him. He is always ready to pull us up. At least be attentive to Him, look at Him. Take one step toward Him and He will come down fifty steps to take you above. If you have firm determination, love and affection for Him, and faith in Him, then definitely He will take you up.”

Showering His limitless grace upon us, God Almighty has given us the human body. The human body is the last step of the stairs, and if we take one more step we reach our real home, but if we miss that step, we fall down once again into the cycle of 84 lakhs births and deaths. If we make the effort in this human birth, we can easily get to our destination; but if we waste this human body, this human birth, then we will have to go back into the cycle of 84 lakhs births and deaths. God Almighty, for Whom we are searching, is nowhere outside; He is within. The Masters say, “Everything is in your home :those who look for Him outside are in the deep illusion.”

The relationship between the Guru and the disciple is not only just to give the Simran. The relationship of the Master with the disciple is very deep; it is very serious. He not only gives us Initiation, He not only gives us the Simran, but his job is to make us progress. His job is to take us back to the Real Home, and His relationship with us does not end in this world, it continues even when we go in the beyond.

All the great Masters have always said that we should beware of the tricks of the mind… the mind throws us into the swamp of maya and into many difficulties and sufferings. From the interviews and the letters of the dear ones I have come to know how much people are suffering because of the tricks of their mind. They tell me that their sufferings do not have any limit and they want to end that suffering. I always advise them, “Dear ones, the only way to end your suffering is by going within and doing the devotion, by connecting yourself with the Naam. Naam is the only thing which can put an end to your suffering; there is no other thing.”

Once some sevadars came to Master Sawan Singh and requested Him to liberate them without doing the meditation, but Master Sawan Singh said, “No. This is not possible. It is your work to do the meditation and it is the work of the Master to shower grace on you. If you will leave off meditating you will have to start from that very point where you left off.” Sant Satgurus came into this world with a lot of grace and there is no doubt in this fact that lovingly They carry the burden of Their disciples without them even asking for it, but it is our duty to help in Their mission and we should also carry and share some of the burden which They are carrying. The only way of doing that is by doing the meditation.
