The All-hearing Allah hears everything, nothing escapes His divine hearing, and no call prevents Him from hearing other calls. Whether we speak loudly or quietly makes no difference to Allah. Some Muslims were journeying with the Prophet, peace be upon him, and they were praising Allah aloud. Then the Prophet said to them, "Quietly, for you are not calling someone deaf or absent; He is All-hearing, Close. The one you call is closer to each of you than the neck of his camel."Whatever we profess, or say aloud, conveys no information Allah. He knows not only our secrets, but also what we try to conceal in our hearts.When we speak of Allah hearing and seeing, we do not imply that Allah has organs like those needed by human beings for cognitive functions. We believe that He hears and sees, but how is beyond our grasp. Allah can hear even the smallest whisper.
