Rights and Responsibilities Rights guide us through what we are allowed to do as humans. A free education Access to good quality healthcare A fair standard of living

The real world... Every person in the UK has a right to an education. As an individual, it is our responsibility to do our best, be a positive citizen and work hard to reach our full potential.

Do we have rights and responsibilities in the online world?

Life online Has anyone in this room ever changed someone else’s Facebook status without asking them first?

Have you ever uploaded current popular song lyrics to a personal website or social network?

Get the balance right.

...but we do all have the same responsibilities. Depending on the country you live in, you may not have the same rights as everyone in the world...

Safer Internet Day 2013 What will you do? Take the accidental outlaw quiz! Write a charter of your class’ online rights. Research the online rights for different countries.
