Force and Net force Force We learned about the motion of objects. That there are three types of motion: speed, velocity, and acceleration. Also, how.
Forces THEY KEEP US GROUNDED. What is force?  A force is simply a push or a pull.  F = ma (mass x acceleration)  Forces are measured in Newtons  Force.
A push or a pull on an object is called a force.
FORCE. A push or pull on an object. Can cause an object to start or stop moving or change the way that an object is moving.
FORCES A force is a push or a pull on an object. Every force has strength, magnitude and direction. Forces acting on a stationary object can set the object.

1.Force of attraction between two masses. 2.All masses have gravitational pull. 3.Determined by distance and mass. 4.In our case on Earth we perceive Gravity to be moving us “down”.

Is the force of friction the same when holding all 3 of these items?

Why is the rock not moving? Gravity says the rock should move be pushed downward. However, in this case the force of friction between the rock and the ground is greater than the force of gravity on the rock.
