IRRI in the region Started in Mozambique:- September 2006 Now work in 7 countries :- Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Mozambique Tanzania, Uganda, Zanzibar Offices in 3 countries:-Mozambique, Tanzania, Burundi Staff :- 30 ( 9 IRS, 5 NRS, 16 TA’s) Regional Research Sites (54) –Mozambique 17, –Tanzania 20 –Burundi 9 –Kenya 2, Uganda 3, Malawi 1, Zanzibar 1, Ethiopia1
