Is Such Despair Sin?  Acts 20:32  James 1:21  2 Peter 1:19

How Do We Escape This Sense Of Despair? 1. Recognize that we are the victors (I John 2:15-17, 4:4-6 & 5:4,5). 2. Recognize that we have the greatest power in the universe (Romans 1:16,17). 3. Understand the difference between concern for the lost and despair (Acts 13:46-52). 4. Learn to approach your faith with a joy, optimism and quiet confidence (Philippians 4:6,7). 5. Never complain about anything that you aren't doing something to try and correct or improve (Ephesians 4:29).
