Pacific Disaster Risk Reduction Resilience vs DRR in the Pacific: Global USG Resilience Policy focuses on integration of relief and development investments in countries facing chronic crisis. Focus countries for initial testing will be in the HOA and Sahel. In the Pacific, the USG will continue to focus on more fully integrated and complimentary programming in the areas of DRR and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA). USAID/OFDA: Emergency Response and DRR USAID/Pacific Islands: Development / CCA / GCC USG Pacific Resilience Programs will be at the confluence of DRR and CCA investments.
