The choice of landlord model Four alternatives with limited difference between some of them. –Set up a new stand alone housing association –Form a new group structure with an exiting housing association –Join an existing group structure –Transfer to an existing housing association

Feedback from consultation so far Tenants –Low response rate to postal survey –Range of views expressed, no clear preference –Some confusion e.g. existing = stay with the Council –ITA advice is that Councillors use all the information available to them about the choice of landlord type including financial and governance as well as the views of tenants when making their choice and that they MUST explain the reasons for that choice to tenants
