Our Trip to Arizona April 2003

Williams, Arizona –We arrived in Williams, Arizona to find snow falling. We were quite surprised!

We rode the train from Williams into the Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon, Arizona Sam and Katee enjoy seeing the Grand Canyon.

This large canyon was formed by the Colorado River.

We enjoy a hike.

Slide Rock State Park Next, we traveled to Slide Rock State park. The same place where Anthony Reynoso goes to play with his family.

It is cold outside. The kids decide to slide in clothes. First, we read the safety sign. Then, we head down to the water.

Slide Rock is a natural water slide. The river flows over the rocks and creates slides of fun. The natural rapids carry you through the slides.

This looks fun!

Sam gets ready to go.

Katee goes for a ride on the slide.

Sam finds a place to jump.

That was cold, but fun! Can I please have a towel?

This is FUN!

It’s to cold for me to slide. I’m going shopping!

After a fun afternoon at Slide Rock we drive into Sedona, Arizona. This is the town where Anthony Reynoso puts on his exhibition. There are many shops here and beautiful rocks. We looked all over for Anthony and his family. We never found them.

The RED ROCKS in Sedona, Arizona.
