Dance Instructions Ragtime Dancers Two-step Dancers Intro: Enter stage in pairs V1: Face L w/LH on waist or shoulder of partner, walk R-L-R-L, one step per ms., 4 ms. In place RF only ,lean back on RF front, lean FW on RF back. Cont. walking 4 ms. R-L one step per ms. Cane/umbrella on floor, slow turn to R. Repeat entire pattern but start with LF and RH on shoulder or waist. Instru1: Look appalled when ragtimers enter … very snobbish throughout. V2: Slight knee bends w/cane/umbrella in front on floor. Cont. looking snobbish. Instru2: Rush (in disgust) to Stage R, form lines facing L, repeat entire sequence from Stage R. Ending: Stand still emitting disgust and snobbery. On final note put nose up in air, both hands on cane in front. Ragtime Dancers Intro/V1: off stage L (from perf. view) Instr.1: big step-kick entrance, stand on L of 2-S couple. V2: Shuffle side to side w/cane in front (R-L-R-L), w/cane (RH) on floor walk around couple to other side w/broadway LH, big out/in sway w/cane horizontal in front RF slow kick, then small hop w/LF point. Shuffle R-L-R-L LH cane on floor, walk back around couple Big out/in sway Final pose: RH on cane (on floor), RF cross over LF, LH tip hat as you nod your head. Instr2: gather fellow ragtimers to stage L V3: Same as above, but all ragtimers stage L Ending: Run around and harrass 2-Steppers. On final note down on one knee on L side of 2-steppers, arms wide out with cane in R hand, looking up at snob with BIG smile!
