Guinea pig money challenge! Solve the guinea pig themed money problems and improve your maths!

Sophie and her brother James are very excited as they are adopting some guinea pigs from Wood Green The Animals Charity. Before they are allowed them, their mum and dad have set them the challenge of working out how much it is going to cost to buy everything they need to keep them healthy and happy.

Hay and grass is the most important part of a guinea pigs diet to help wear down their teeth and give them fibre to keep their tummies healthy. It also makes a great bedding! It costs 50p a day for the amount of hay 2 guinea pigs would need. How much would it cost for a week? £35 £3.50 £7.00
