we are the dead...

short days ago we lived...

and now we lie in Flanders Fields.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them..

Soldiers were not the only casualties of war. Over one million children under the age of sixteen died during the Second World War. A brave young girl named Anne Frank was only one of them.
