Using MLA to Format your “Hamlet” Research Paper”

ction/2/ There are many good sources to help you through this process, but it’s my opinion that Owl Purdue has one of the best.

Use the site (carefully) It’s important to go through the site, step-by- step, ensuring that you understand the rules of a properly-formatted MLA paper. Participate in my in-class tutorial. If you miss Monday’s class, you can simply go through the site on your own.

Citation Machine You may also use but it’s important to understand the choices you are making, which makes Owl Purdue so important. Open the sample papers on the Owl site and use them as a guide. You may also come to see me at noon to see samples of student papers is you like.

1.Properly format the “title page information” as shown on the Owl site 2.Number pages appropriately 3.Organize you paper in a logical way with headings 4.Be sure to reference all sources (direct quotes and paraphrased information) 1.Do this properly (use Owl) 2.Have a properly-formatted Works Cited page (alphabetical order; include all pertinent information) 3.If you have not done so already, check out the rubric and the research document that were posted on the wiki.
