Science Essay! MLA Format

You must write a science research paper based on a chemistry topic. Possible topics 1.Recycling – plastics 2.Pesticides/Herbicides 3.Alternative Liquid Fuels 4.Household Products (cleaners, pest repents, other household chemicals) 5.Air Quality 6.Food Additives 7.Diabetes 8.Drug Chemistry 9.Vitamins (or specifically vitamin C or specify a vitamin) 10.Paper vs. Plastics 11.Cholesterol and Fats 12.Food preservation chemistry 13.Chemicals that trigger allergies/ allergy medication 14.Endorphins and Morphine 15.Nuclear Power and/ or Waste 16.Radiation Treatments 17.Mass Transportation (the technology, chemistry behind it) 18.Chemistry of Venus and Mars and Other Planets 19.Advancements in batteries/ fuel cell chemistry 20.Specific use of an element (ex: fluoride, uranium, must specify)

What makes a good source? Author: is there an author, are they credible? Is it a reliable publisher? – University, medical institute, gov institute Peer Reviewed Journals! Look at the url: – Good:.edu and.gov – Okay:.org (can be great or really bias) – Only use.com if it is to access a journal article or other scholarly print source Not good: social media, blogs, wikipedia! (open, public, anyone can make up stuff)
