Who Wants to be a Spurious Millionaire? Directions: 1. Write your name on the scrap sheet of paper to be collected. 2. Independently take 10 minutes to complete the grammar passage to prepare you for tomorrow’s exam. 3. After 10 minutes, names will be drawn at random to answer each question. 4. When answering each question, you will have the choice of 1 of 3 life lines: 1. Poll the audience – you can ask the class to raise their hand for each answer choice to see what everyone else chose 2. Phone a friend – you may call on a classmate to help 3. 50/50 – eliminate half the answer choices for you 5. If you get the question correct, you add to the class’s score. If you get it wrong, however, the class score goes back to zero. 6. The class with the highest score will earn a treat for during tomorrow’s exam.

Jeopardy You are to copy the point value and definition for each question. If you know the answer, write it in the word box. After each question, we will reveal the correct answer to see if you got the word correct. If you get the correct word, reward yourself with points. If you did not get the correct answer, you need to subtract points.
