3) Books with FOUR OR MORE Authors Either list all the names or use the first author’s name followed by “et al.” Bootzin, Richard R., et al. Psychology Today: An Introduction. New York: Random, 1986.

4) Books with Editor or Editors Use abbreviation “ed.” or “eds.” preceded by a comma, after the name(s) of the editor(s). Gates, Henry Louis, Jr., ed. Classic Slave Narrative. New York: NAL, WITH FOUR OR MORE EDITORS, use only the name of the first editor followed by a comma and “et al.”

5) Book with No Author List and alphabetize by the title of the book. The Chicago Manual of Style. 14 th ed. Chicago: U of Chicago P, 1993.
