8 Daniel’s 70 Weeks Its 4 sections 1.7 weeks - 49 years Rebuilding streets & walls 2.62 weeks years Messiah will be “cut off.” 3.½ week – 3½ years First half of the Tribulation Antichrist makes 7-year treaty with Israel. 4.½ week – 3½ years Last half of the Tribulation Antichrist breaks treaty Israel persecuted

9 Daniel’s 70 Weeks Gap between 69 th & 70 th weeks 1.It is set apart from the other 69, and more attention given to the 70 th week 2.Between the 69 & 70 th week are two events. 3.Verse 24 says 6 things must happen before the end of the 70 th week. To finish the transgression To make an end of sins To finish reconciliation for iniquity To bring in everlasting righteousness To seal up the vision and prophecy To anoint the most holy place 4.Matthew alludes to a gap in Daniel’s prophecy.
