« Come, Lord, visit us with peace so that we may rejoice before you ». Come, Lord Jesus Our family awaits you to witness of the light of your Presence. Render us capable of humility, of hospitality and of gentleness! Come, Lord Jesus ! Sow joy in our poverty and visit us with peace. May your family, your Church, rejoice before you!

Let us ask for the gift of peace for all the families in the world. Let us ask for forgiveness and forgive ourselves.

« O Wisdom, who came from the mouth of the Most High, who disposes all things mightily and sweetly: come, and teach us the way of prudence. » Come, Lord Jesus, and remain in our family. We need you who is wisdom of the most high. Help us to discern, give us a sober lifestyle, open the intelligence of our hearts.

Come, Lord Jesus ! Give flavor to our life; accompany us on the road of learning; guide us with gentleness and strength, teach us to do your will. Show to your family, your Church, the way of wisdom.

Let us ask for the gift of wisdom for all the parents and the children. Pray for those who promote love of culture and of education.

« O Ruler of the House of Israel, you gave the law to Moses on Mount Sinai. Come, and with outstretched arm redeem us.» Come, Lord Jesus ! You are the Word that enlightens and warms our family. Free us from any selfishness and self-pity, from presumption and pride, and guide us towards hope.

Come, Lord Jesus! Protect our home. Comfort those who doubt; support those who are alone; console those who are weak and those who weeps.

Make us patient and courageous, able to rely and trust in you, Word of God. Guide your family, the Church, with your mighty arm. Ask the Lord's help while reading the Word of God together. Pray for the situations of joy and suffering present in all families.

« O Root of Jesse, who clothe you like a sign for the peoples: come and free us, do not delay. » Come, Lord Jesus! Our family is called to be your visible sign. Make us profound and strong in faith. Remove useless and empty words from our lips; free us from superficial relationships and way of life.

Come, Lord Jesus! Feed us from the sap of your love; root us in you so that we can produce fruit. That the birds with their nests arise in our branches, children and the elderly, the poor and the rich, the healthy and the sick, son and brothers who knock at the heart of our family. And that the song of joy vibrates melodies from heaven. Set your family free, the Church, do not delay.

Ask for gift of silence, of humility, and depth of all families in the world. Pray that all families become a visible symbol of love

« O Key of David, who opens the gates of the kingdom of heaven: come, and lead your captive people into freedom from the prison of death and darkness. » Come, Lord Jesus, teach our family to pray. You are the Golden Key that opens the hearts and make them sensitive to the needs of humanity. Build our house : help us to create a space for silence, for listening and for contemplation. Help us to pray for each other.

Come, Lord Jesus, Key of History Be mindful of our tears, bless every drop of silent and hidden supplication that breaks the lock of selfishness. Open to your family, the Church, the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Ask for the gift of hope to all families in the world. Pray for the sick, the dying and all deceased families.

« O Radiant Star, Splendor of eternal light, Sun of Justice: come and shine on those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death » Come, Lord Jesus! You are the Light that shines in our family. Guide our free will, support us in trials, revive our lamp and make us a light to our brothers and sisters whom we meet.

Come, Lord Jesus! Star that rises, guiding Star that leads our way. We often experience darkness, fear, uncertainty, senselessness. Cast your light in our tired furrows and help us to look at the sky where your light shines eternal. Enlighten your family, the Church, O Sun of Righteousness.

Ask the light of Christ to all the families of the world. Pray for those whose heart is hurting and those who are hopeless.

« O King of the Gentiles and the Desired of all, you are the cornerstone that binds two into one. Come, and save man whom you fashioned out of clay. » Come, Lord Jesus! Make our family able to confide in you. You are the joy of the entire world. You are the rock, our certitude. We trust in your love, we delight in your presence and your comfort.

Come, Lord Jesus! King of the nations, the cornerstone of the Church. Instruct us to grow on you and with you, teach us to serve with humility. We present to you our weaknesses, our insufficiences. We are nothing. You are everything, the Way, the Truth, the Life. Save your family, the Church, whom you have formed on the earth.

Ask for the gift of redemption for all families in the world. Pray that families will deeply rediscover the Sacraments of Christian Initiation, Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation.

« O Emmanuel, our King and Lawgiver, the Expected of the nations and their Savior. Come and save us, O Lord our God. » Come, Lord Jesus! Come into our family. Draw your tent near our fragility. We want to welcome you, "God with us" and abide in You.

Come, O, Emmanuel! Come visit our family, we are waiting for you. Stay with us so that we can in turn remain in you and give you all. Your presence saves us. You are the people's expectation and our deliverer. We your family, the Church, awaits you, come to save us by your presence.

Ask the Presence of God redeemer of all the families of the world. Let us pray for all the peoples of the world.

« When the sun rises, you will see the King of Kings: like the bridegroom in the bridal chamber, he comes from the Father. » Lord, we adapt the words of a poet, and we invoke your coming in our poverty.

THANK YOU, Jesus! You come in the night, but in our hearts it is always dark therefore, come always, Lord. You come in silence, But we do not know what to say: therefore, come always, Lord. You come in solitude, but we are increasingly alone: therefore, come always, Lord. You come as Son of peace, but we do not know what peace is : therefore, come always, Lord. You come to set us free, but we are more and more slaves : therefore, come always, Lord.

THANK YOU, Jesus! You come to comfort us, but we are more and more unhappy : therefore, come always, Lord. You come looking for us, but we are more and more lost : therefore, come always, Lord. You come, You who loves us, nobody is in communion with his brother at least to be the first one with you, Lord. We are all far away, lost, we do not know who we are, what we want : Come, Lord! Always come, Lord ! (David M. Turoldo)
