Mentor, Tutor, Supervisor Who is who?

Aim To examine the differences and similarities between mentors, supervisors and tutors

Objectives Describe the role of mentor, supervisor and tutor Identify the differences between the roles Describe each role in relation to the placement setting

‘Who’s Who?’ game Take a sheet of paper & tear it into 3 equal pieces Write one of these words on each sheet Mentor Supervisor Tutor Look at the descriptions of the role on the board, decide which best fits the description and hold up that piece of paper. Mrs Price will add the numbers & write them here!
