2015 International Astronautical Congress Student Paper Competition - UK Selection Win a trip to Jerusalem!
The IAC The annual International Astronautical Congress (IAC) is the world’s largest astronautics/space engineering conference In 2015 it will be held in Jerusalem, Israel from 12 to 16 October At the IAC there is a student paper competition with prizes for best papers/presentations in two categories, undergraduate and postgraduate Brighton 1987 Glasgow 2008
UK Selection 2015 The UK selection is being carried out by the British Interplanetary Society Space Education and Outreach Committee. The competition is being launched here today at the UKSEDS conference and will be open for entries until Friday 17 April The final selection will take place in London on Saturday 30 May at a joint BIS/UKSEDS event at the BIS HQ in London Lecture Room BIS HQ, 27/29 South Lambeth Rd
To Enter…. To enter, all that is required is for students to a one-page abstract to the BIS at:- by the deadline of 17 April. Once the abstract has been received, the student supervisor will be ed to confirm their support for the entry. The Competition Each category winner who represents the UK in Jerusalem will be awarded a cheque for £300 (both postgraduate and undergraduate) after presenting at the IAC.
