Welcome to REBA!  Introductions:  Chris Peary, Project Manager for VR  Muhammad Din, Project Manager for AAJ  Contract Managers  This session is being recorded.  Please hold questions until the end (or use Chat panel).  CART Services (closed-captioning) are available via link.  Your line will be muted until the end.  If you need assistance, please type into the chat panel.

The Need for Electronic Invoicing  Time delay for mailing and accepting Referral forms  No easy way to enforce contract timelines  Service Provider cost for mailing forms  Time delay in receiving Service Provider forms  Data entry costs for Service Providers  Manual data entry prone to errors, causing delays  Time delay due to returning erroneous forms  VR Procedures vary from area to area

The Benefits of REBA  Reduced data entry time (VR customers’ information is pre-populated in forms)  Mailing costs reduced  Time delay reduced by an estimated 3 months  Paper printing, filing, retrieving costs reduced  Invoice approval time reduced allowing for faster payments and more customers served.

Basic Terms / Definitions  REBA – Rehabilitation Electronic Billing Application An electronic invoicing system that will enable the contracted service providers to submit invoices and related documents electronically.  RIMS - Rehabilitation Information Management System An internal application being used by VR counselors and Contract managers to perform day-to-day activities. E.g. Create a new referral, approve an NOA, approve an invoice

Provider User Roles  Supervisor  Manage Users, Accept / Reject a referral, Assign a referral to an employment specialist, submit MPRs, NOAs and Invoices  Employment Specialist  Can “save” MPR & NOA detail for an “assigned” referral.  Doesn’t have access to  Manage users  Submit MPR or NOA  View Invoice

Next Steps  Oct 03, 2011 – REBA application goes live and will be available to all the users.  VR team will create REBA application user account for supervisor.  Once you receive the credentials, create user accounts for other supervisors (in your organization) and employment specialists  All the new referrals will be sent via REBA application. Keep watching the s for notifications. Important: REBA will handle OJT, ES and SE referral types only. Other referral types will be handled via paper.
