2006/08/299 Installation DUCOSUN F UniFit 1. Preparing the support profiles a.Bolt the bottom-mounting L shaped profiles down with the M8x70 hexagon head bolts (101209) (ensure the bolts will thread all the way through), the corresponding washers (100346) and check nuts (100312). b.Tighten the other L-shaped profiles down using the M8x25 T-head bolts (007050), washers and check nuts.

Fixing the forks to the support profiles a.First, loosely secure the 2 washer-plates (101196) to the forks with 2 M8x20 bolts (101198) and 4 washers (100346). Next, slide the bottom-mounting forks (e.g. 0 degree angled fork for 200F series aerofoils = ) in the support profiles and tighten the hexagon bolts M8x20 (101198) down.

Connecting aerofoils CAUTION CAUTION : Make sure to only connect aerofoil fins when these are fixed at at least 2 points ! a.Insert the the fixed pivot point spigot (Ø14 L=100) in the adjustable bushing Ø29/75 using the M5x20 hex socket head cap bolts and the M5 washers (100339). Note : Secure the hex socket head cap bolts in position by Loctite. b.Insert the newly assembled pin in aerofoil # 1 first and then and fit the type II end caps to the fins and screw down with thread forming screws (102007). Connecting aerofoils c.Insert a bushing Ø29/75 in the second areofoil first and then fit a type II end cap and screw down with thread forming screws (102007). d.Next, gently press the two aerofoil fins together. CAUTION : Enough clearance should be present to allow the fins to expand.

Connecting aerofoils a.Fit the fixed pivot point spigot quite like with 200F series aerofoil fins. b.Insert a spring pivot point spigot into the type II joint plate and secure with two M5x20 bolts and two M5 washers (100339) first and then fit an MCM mm bushing. c.Next, fit the 2 joint plates to both ends of the aerofoil fins and screw down with 4 M6x30 screws (102007) ; commence tightening the outer screws first, apply anti-seize compound and use a 12V driver (min.). c.Next, gently press the two aerofoil fins together.
