Wall Walker Hand Guard Handle Bar Chain Sprocket Bar Motor

Safety Catch Trigger

Nameplate and Tags GPM and pressure sticker- Never exceed the flow and pressure levels Danger Sticker- lists the electrocution hazards Safety Tag- Lists the safety instructions

Equipment Care and Protection Spray a light film of WD40 on entire chain before and after every use Store saw in clean dry area Supply hoses have minimum working pressure 2500psi Tool repair should be done by qualified personnel Couplers must be kept clean Hydraulic circuit valve must be in OFF position when coupling or uncoupling hoses Chain saw is used for concrete, concrete block, brick, natural stone NOT wood

Hydraulic System Requirements System should provide a flow of 7-9 gpm at operating pressure of 2000psi System should not have more then 250psi backpressure measured at the tool System should have sufficient heat rejection capacity(max oil pressure140deg F) Hose size: .500 inch / 12mm I.D. - up to 50 feet long Hose size: .625 inch / 16mm I.D. - up to 100 feet long

Supplies Apron, Safety Glasses, Supply Hose, Adapter, Lubricant

Operating Instructions Hydraulic power source should develop flow of 7-9gpm Relief valve set to 2100-2500psi Make certain power source return does not exceed 250psi Wipe couplers with clean lint-free cloth Connect hoses from power source to tool fittings Connect return hose first and disconnect it last (avoids trapped pressure) Move circuit valve to ON position

Connecting to Water Supply Using a standard garden hose, connect the DS11 to a city or auxiliary water supply Turn saw on and read water pressure at the water gauge. Pressure must be at least 50psi (4 gpm) If you cannot achieve 50 psi use the Stanley Water Pump Kit

Hydraulic Connections Water Connection

Chain Replacement and Break In Ensure bar and sprocket are in good condition Replace chain and ensure bumper guard proceeds each diamond segment in the blade rotation. The chain is designed to operate in only one direction!

Chain Replacement and Break In (cont.) Operate for two minutes away from intended cut. Check tension and adjust as required

Bumper Guard Bumper Guard Rotation

Blade Segment Bumper Guard Rotation

Chain and Bar Adjustment Check the chain tension often during operation If it is too loose, adjust it Make sure the chain does not exceed a clearance of ¼ inch from the bar Make sure the bar attaching nuts are fully tightened and chain guard is in place

Chain Tension Adjustment Turn off water and power Loosen the two saw bar attachment nuts Using the saw bar adjustment screw, tighten chain until you are still able to rotate it 1 full revolution by hand Pull chain around the saw bar to make sure it fits the sprocket Fully tighten the two saw bar attachment nuts

Saw Bar Attachment Nuts < ¼” Chain Guard

Bar Adjustment Screw

Check chain segment wear Using calipers, measure several chain segments If the average measurement is less than 1/16 inch the chain must be replaced

> 1/16”

Operating procedures Check chain and bar Turn on water Ensure water flow is 4 gpm at 50 psi min. Run saw for 2 min (away from intended cut) and check tension Adjust tension if needed Plan your cuts Outline the area to be cut with a marker Know the material you are cutting Base horizontal cut first then cut counterclock wise 4 3 2 1

50 psi min.

Wall Walker Position pivot pin in upper hole (A) - “Parked” position Position pivot pin in lower hole (B) - “Autofeed” position.

Wall Walker (cont.) Begin cutting until cut is large enough to allow tip of wedge to insert into the cut. After the saw cuts approx. 1 – 2.5” withdraw the saw only enough to allow the lever arm and wedge to reposition.

Lever Arm Wall Walker Assembly Wedge A - Parked B - Autofeed

Types of Cuts Down cut Plunge cut Up cut Do not use cutting force in excess of 45 lbs Maintain high chain speed when cutting Avoid heavy plunge cuts Do not cut loose rebar!!

Cold Weather Operation If used in cold weather you must preheat the hydraulic oil at low engine speed Oil temp should be at or above 50 deg F before use
