Rock and roll is a musical genre marked rhythm, derived from a mixture of various styles of the american folklore(BLUES y COUNTRY AND WESTERN). The term "rock and roll" was first used by Alan Freed, djs of a radio of Cleveland, which used the term to holder a radio program: Moondog's delivered Rock'n'Roll Parte. This term is usually reserved for the first time in this style (primarily the decade of the 1950s of the 20th century), while its abbreviation, Rock is generally used to refer to the rest of the history of this musical genre.
