LWVEF April 2013 Welcome to the VOTE411 “Who Represents You” Pilot Project Webinar

 LWVEF will be selecting a few Leagues (5-10) to participate in this pilot program  The pilot program will last for 3 months and during that time participating Leagues agree to follow the guidelines on the following slide  All participating Leagues will be able to use “Who Represents You” until December 31, Beginning January 1, 2014, Leagues wishing to continue with the project will need to join VOTE411. If you don’t know your League’s cost-sharing rate, contact Megan Brown. About the “Who Represents You” Pilot Project

 Create tools that make VOTE411 a place people look to for information all year long beyond the elections  Better connect elections officials and their work to the members of their community  Streamline several LWV activities  Bring more visibility to a variety of League activities  Develop best practices for participation  Test and provide feedback to improve the project “Who Represents You” Pilot Goals

 Fill out a brief monthly survey  both Megan Brown and the Helpdesk on all communications with one of the following in your subject line:  Bug report – You found an issue with the system that needs to be fixed.  Help – You need support to complete a step.  Suggestions – You have a specific suggestion that would make the system easier for you or a feature you would like to see added.  At the end of the pilot, provide detailed feedback on various aspects of the program and how it worked for your League, including a written report as well as a possible phone call with Megan Brown and/or Aleeda Crawley. Participation Requirements

 The pilot will start in the beginning of May  Let Megan Brown know if you’re still interested in the pilot project by Monday, April 15 th. If so, provide the following information:  Primary contact name and address  If your League currently undertakes any of the following, information regarding your Observer Corps, “They Represent You” (or similar publication), and/or legislative questionnaire.
