 2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God  Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.  Psa 19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

 Notice what Peter said:  There are Restrictions to the Word of God  2Pe 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.  There is a Reality about the Word of God  2Pe 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

 Notice what Paul said:  Denied that they are from Man  Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.  Declared that they are from the Master  Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

 Doctrine  Disapproves  Disciplines  Direction  Psa 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

 The Word of God gives us everything we need…..  Tells us what is Right “ Doctrine”  Tells us when we are not Right “ Reproof”  Tells us how to get right “ Correction”  Tells us how to stay right “ Instruction”

 The Scriptures Furnish us  2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  The Scriptures make us Fruitful  Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

 Human Creeds  Gal 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:  Gal 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.  Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

 Human Creeds  Mat 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.  Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

 Human Creeds  Mar 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, …..  Mar 7:9 Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.  Mar 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition…..

 The True Standard in Religion is the Word of God !  Not our Feelings  Not our Consciences  Not any Human Creed  Not our Common Sense

 Hear  Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  Believe  Joh 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.  Repent  Luk 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

 Confess  Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.  Baptized  Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  Behave  Rev 2:10 Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
