SPIRITUAL WARFARE: WINNING THE BATTLE ARE YOU READY? FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH, LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE, WHEREUNTO THOU ART ALSO CALLED, AND HAST PROFESSED A GOOD PROFESSION BEFORE MANY WITNESSES. I TIM. 6:12

SPIRITUAL WARFARE SPIRITUAL WARFARE-THE ROOT OF THE WAR IS SOMETHING WE CANNOT NOT SEE BUT THE EFFECTS OF THE WAR IS CLEARLY SEEN IN OUR LIVES.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE OUR BATTLE WITH THE ENEMY AS CHRISTIANS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL CHRIST COMES BACK AGAIN. THE ENEMY MAY LEAVE FOR A SEASON, BUT AS THE TERMINATOR SAID “I (HE) WILL BE BACK”.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE SATAN NEVER FORGETS HIS FIGHT AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF GOD. HE GOES ABOUT AS A ROARING LION, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR. DON’T BE PREY FOR THE ENEMY.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE SATAN IS ALREADY DEFEATED. IN ORDER FOR SATAN TO RULE IN OUR LIVES, HE MUST DECEIVE US TO LEAVE WHAT CHRIST HAS TOLD US TO DO AND COME BACK OVER TO WORLDLY RESPONSES AND ACTIONS.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE SATAN IS TRYING TO GET US TO TRANSFER OUR ALLEGIANCE FROM THE AUTHORITATIVE WORD OF GOD TO HIS WORLDLY SCHEMES. WE CANNOT WIN THE BATTLE, WHEN WE ARE ALWAYS FLIPPING SIDES. WE COME TO CHURCH IN GOD’S KINGDOM AND THEN OPERATE THE REST OF THE TIME WITH OUR FRIENDS IN WORLDLY KINGDOM.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE SATAN LOST HIS PLACE IN HEAVEN AND HIS AUTHORITY BUT NOT HIS POWER. HE IS THE PRINCE OF THE AIR AND HE WORKS TO DOMINATE THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD. SATAN NO LONGER HAS AUTHORITY IN OUR LIVES WHEN WE ACCEPT CHRIST, UNLESS WE LET HIM.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE AUTHORITY MEANS- THE RIGHT TO USE THE POWER YOU POSSESS. TO WIN THE BATTLE AND DEFEAT THE ENEMY, WE CAN’T FUNCTION BELOW THE AUTHORITY GIVEN TO US BY CHRIST. RESIST HIM. REBUKE HIM-HE MUST FLEE.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE WE LIVE IN THIS WORLD, BUT WE DON’T FIGHT OUR BATTLES IN THE SAME WAY THE WORLD DOES. 4 THE WEAPONS WE USE ARE NOT HUMAN ONES. OUR WEAPONS HAVE POWER FROM GOD AND CAN DESTROY THE ENEMY’S STRONG PLACES. WE DESTROY PEOPLE’S ARGUMENTS, 5 AND WE TEAR DOWN EVERY PROUD IDEA THAT RAISES ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD. WE ALSO CAPTURE EVERY THOUGHT AND MAKE IT GIVE UP AND OBEY CHRIST. II CORIN. 10:3-5 (ERV).

SPIRITUAL WARFARE OUR FIGHTING THIS WAR, IS NOT CONTROLLED BY OUR 5 SENSES (WHAT WE SEE, HEAR, TASTE, TOUCH OR SMELL). SATAN TRIES TO DISTRACT US TO OPERATE IN THIS REALM SO WE CANNOT DETECT OR BE VICTORIOUS OVER CIRCUMSTANCES. OUR FIGHT IS NOT AGAINST OUR NEIGHBOR, BOSS, EX- BOYFRIEND, EX-GIRLFRIEND OR FAMILY ETC. TO WIN THE BATTLE, WE NEED TO CONNECT WITH OUR SIXTH SENSE-A SPIRITUAL SENSE, TO WIN OUR FIGHT AGAINST THE ENEMY. WE ARE BLESSED WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING. EPH. 1:3. WE CAN WIN THE BATTLE.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE KNOW THE CHARACTER OF SATAN HE IS THE FATHER OF A LIE. HE IS THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION. HE USES LIES TO CREATE CHAOS AND DISORDER IN OUR LIVES BY MOVING THINGS OUT OF ALIGNMENT. THANKS BE TO GOD WHO IS “TRUTH”. HE DOESN’T LIE AND TRUTH SETS US FREE. GOD IS THE SOURCE OF OUR FREEDOM, STABILITY AND VICTORY.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE REMEMBER YOUR SOURCE II CHRON. 20:1-18 WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT THE KING DID?

SPIRITUAL WARFARE IN THIS SPIRITUAL WARFARE, WE MUST PRAY AND ASK GOD TO HELP US RECOGNIZE THE ROOT OR SPIRITUAL CAUSE OF OUR ISSUE. OUR ATTEMPTS TO FIGHT-PHYSICALLY WILL ONLY PROVIDE TEMPORARY SUCCESS. AS IN THE NATURAL SO IN THE SPIRIT. PHYSICAL CIRCUMSTANCES USUALLY HAVE A SPIRITUAL ROOT. IF YOU CAN IDENTIFY THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM BY SEEKING GOD, IT CAN SET YOU FREE.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE REMEMBER IT’S A SPIRITUAL BATTLE THAT CAN ONLY BE FOUGHT WITH SPIRITUAL WEAPONS. RECOGNIZE THAT THE ENEMY IS THE PRINCE OF THE AIR. WATCH YOUR THOUGHTS. DON’T BELIEVE OR ACT ON EVERY THING YOU THINK ABOUT. (EX. CARTOON WITH THE DEVIL IN ONE EAR & THE ANGEL IN THE OTHER-TRYING TO PERSUADE ON WHICH WAY TO GO. JUDGE YOUR THOUGHTS AND THINK- ABOUT IF THIS IS WHAT JESUS WOULD DO. ASK FOR GOD’S HELP.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE EFFECTIVE WARRIORS EPH. 6:10-18 EPH. 6: 11-THE WORD STAND IS A MILITARY OVERTONE. IN GREEK STAND MEANS TO RESIST THE ENEMY. HOLD A CRITICAL POSITION IN BATTLE. WE ARE NOT ONES TO BAT AT THE AIR, WITH NO GOALS. RECOGNIZE HOW TO USE THE WEAPON OF PRAYER EFFECTIVELY TO DEFEAT THE ENEMY. WATCH AS WELL AS PRAY.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE THE FIRST 3 PIECES OF THE ARMOR IT SAYS “TO HAVE”. THIS MEANS WE SHOULD ALWAYS “HAVE” TRUTH, PEACE AND THE SHIELD OF FAITH IN PLACE AT ALL TIMES. THEN WE SHOULD “TAKE” SALVATION, THE WORD OF GOD AND PRAYER TO USE IN OUR BATTLES. UTILIZING THE VARIOUS PIECES OF THE ARMOR TO WAR AGAINST THE ENEMY AND WIN. GOD HAS GIVEN US WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN, IT’S UP TO US TO SUIT UP AND PUT THE ARMOR ON.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE GOD DOESN’T WANT YOU HALF DRESSED FOR THE BATTLE. WE NEED TO STAND FIRM ON THE WORD OF GOD TO WIN THE BATTLE OVER THE ENEMY. WE CAN READ SELF HELP BOOKS, NAME IT AND CLAIM IT STATEMENTS BUT UNTIL WE APPLY THE WORD OF GOD, WE CAN STILL LOSE THE BATTLE.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE SEEK GOD FIRST II SAM. 5: ASK GOD FIRST BEFORE YOU MOVE. DON’T LET THE BURNING ISSUE OF THE DAY CAUSE YOU TO MAKE A DECISION WITHOUT GOD’S INPUT. THOSE DECISIONS CAN CAUSE YOU TO LOSE OUT ON THE BLESSINGS GOD HAS FOR YOU.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE YOU WILL NEVER WIN THE BATTLE OVER SATAN OR YOUR ENEMIES BY USING YOUR OWN POWER, WISDOM OR STRENGTH. WE NEED GOD’S HELP TO WIN. PRAYER IS EARTHLY PERMISSION FOR HEAVENLY INTERFERENCE.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE WE CAN NEVER PRAY (TALK TO GOD) TOO MUCH BUT WE CAN PRAY TOO LITTLE. THE ENEMY LIKES US TO COMPROMISE TO SAY IT DOESN’T TAKE ALL THAT. WE MAY LIMIT OUR PRAYERS TO PRAYING BEFORE WE EAT, BEFORE WE SLEEP AND WHEN WE ARE IN TROUBLE, IN CHURCH OR ONLY BECAUSE WE DON’T WANT TO MISS PRAYER. PRAY WITHOUT CEASING AND IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE DON’T BE IGNORANT OF THE ENEMIES DEVICES. KEEP OPEN COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR GOD THROUGH PRAYER. THE EFFECTUAL PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS AVAILS MUCH.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE WATCH YOUR FOCUS ST. MATT. 13:22 STOP LOOKING TO YOURSELF AND YOUR OWN POWER TO OVERCOME THE ENEMY THOU THEREFORE ENDURE HARDNESS, AS A GOOD SOLDIER OF JESUS CHRIST. 4 NO MAN THAT WARRETH ENTANGLETH HIMSELF WITH THE AFFAIRS OF THIS LIFE; THAT HE MAY PLEASE HIM WHO HATH CHOSEN HIM TO BE A SOLDIER.
