John 1:1-5 - Introduction John 1:6-13- Idea is the light of the world, whoever received this light was given power to manifest the true nature – idea. John 1: the light or idea develops and is manifest as universal blessing; Idea is born of the spirit John 1: the light is identified as the 4 sided city. - the Word can only increase when wedded to the Christ - the Christ takes away the sin of the World - Christianity applies to all ideas - Science shows oneness with Principle John 1: Idea gathered everything needed to fulfill its mission John 2:1-11- True Life is the Word wedded to the Christ – the water of the Word transformed into the wine of the inspiration (Christ) John 2: Must have the Zeal of the Lord to completely eliminate from consciousness any faith in materiality John 2: True consciousness is aware of anything unlike itself – Jesus did not trust material acceptance. 1
John 3: Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, came to Jesus by night John 3: “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven” John 3: John the Baptist: - he (Jesus) must increase, but I must decrease - Jesus: - the Father loveth the Son and has given all things into his hand John 4:1-30- Jesus in Samaria; at Jacob’s well; was weary; sat on well; a woman came to draw water 2

John 4: I have meat ye know not of John 4: healing of the nobleman’s son - Jesus in Cana; a nobleman’s son in Capernaum was sick, at the point of death John 5:1-9- healing of the lame man - pool of Bethesda; a man lame for 38 years John 5:10-16-Jews persecuted Jesus because of breaking the law 4
John 5: what the Father doeth, the Son doeth likewise John 5:20, 21- the Father showeth the Son all – greater works John 5:22, 23- all judgment is given to the Son John 5:24-29-as the Father has life in himself, so has the Son life in himself 5
John 5: The witness of John the Baptist is true, but it lasts only for a season John 5:36- The works bear witness John 5:37, 38- The Father bears witness of the Christ, that He has sent him John 5: The scriptures testify of the ever-appearing of the Christ 6
John 6:1-27- feeding 5000: substance is limitless, immaterial John 6:28-51a- Jesus: - the work of God is to believe on him whom he has sent John 6:15b-71- whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life John 7:1-53-Jesus went in secret to Jerusalem 7
