Frustration How can we be satisfied with Jesus but so unhappy with everyone else? What drives us to that point?

Isaiah 14: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

The Original Text The Greek word for “perfect” used in Matthew 5:48 is τέλειος, (pronounced “tell-ous”) which means “mature.” It’s an adjective derived from the word “consummated.”

The Original Text If Matthew wanted to say that we are to be flawless or sinless, he would have used the Greek word άψογος which literally means “flawless”.

Frustration The unrealistic expectations cause us to be disappointed with ourselves and subsequently disappointed in everyone else.
