Access to Recovery (ATR) III: Wind Down Sara Roberson ATR Data Analyst

Thank You! GRATEFUL FOR ALL PROVIDERS in this journey with us Client Choice has driven authorizations for services. Some services have been underutilized and this has caused us to add and refocus services. What do the clients need at this point in their recovery?

Wind Down Guidance We need to wind down and close out the services in this final year of ATR III. The federal ATR grant is ending on September 29, Looking at other programs and projects in the future ATR IV In President Obama’s budget In Congressional Committee Uncertain Maryland will apply if it is offered.

Wind Down Guidance – Part II We will serve clients with ATR as long as we can. Reviewing enrollments Reviewing spending Stay informed Come to meetings Read s

FLEXIBILITY

4-Year Targets Targets: Actual/Goal Year 1 = 615/628 = 97.9% (Original = 1655) Year 2 = 2751/2505 = 109.8% Year 3 = 2214/2438 = 90.8% Year 4 Target = 2033 TOTAL Clients TARGET for 4 Years = 7613

Year 4 Target Total Year 4 Enrollment Target = 2033 = 206 enrollments a month for 10 months a little cushion Our plan is to enroll clients through July 31, 2014, so that we can bill and deliver all services by September 29, Plan needs to be flexible.

Guidance Front loading enrollments early (10 months vs. 12 months AND greater enrollments early in the FFY) Good fit/ideal candidate GPRA is still very important Still providing full range of Recovery Support Services Aside: Having DIRECT DEPOSIT is Ideal. Otherwise, cash checks immediately.

Direct Deposit Call the ATR Data Analyst (me) at to request your Provider Pin#. With your Pin# handy, call PaySpan at Give them your Registration Code (found on your check) and your Tax ID#. Provide them with your banking information.

ATR Providers with No Authorizations ATR Providers who have never received authorizations Notified in early October 2013 Closed in SMART Removed from Directory

ATR Providers with No Authorizations in 90 days Reviewing expenditures periodically ATR Providers who have not received authorizations in 90 days Notified in early October 2013 Closed in SMART Removed from Directory

Service Considerations Two ATR Services are ending by the end of this calendar year, Pastoral Counseling – all services must be completed and billed by , because they will be closed in SMART by Family Counseling – all services must be completed and billed by , because they will be closed in SMART by

Adjusting Plans Based on Enrollments Based on Expenditures

Last Date for Services & Billing So, ALL services MUST be completed and BILLED for by

Care Coordination GPRA Considerations Last date to enroll client with a full 8 months to obtain GPRA & last date to enroll with the client guaranteed a $15 gift card (only if GPRA is obtained within the window). 1/30/2014 thru 4/29/2014 $160 Follow-up GPRA reimbursement and $15 gift card reimbursement are not guaranteed unless the Follow-up GPRA is completed by Follow-up GPRAs are no longer required for these clients; however, if you obtain them before , your will be reimbursed for the Follow-up GPRA and the $15 gift card.

Care Coordination More GPRA Considerations month GPRA Window Exceeds Payment Reimbursement - NO MORE Follow-up GPRA Reimbursement for clients enrolled from this date forward. No MORE $15 Gift Card Reimbursement for clients enrolled from this date forward. Intake GPRAs must be completed for enrollment into ATR, but Follow- up GPRAs are no longer required for these clients.

Care Coordination Even More GPRA Considerations 4/30/2014 thru 7/31/2014 All ATR Intakes in this date range must have all services completed and billed for by Follow-up GPRAs are not required and $15 gift cards will not be reimbursed for any client.

Care Coordination: Administrative Follow-up GPRAs For all missed Follow-up GPRAs, complete an Administrative Follow-up GPRA. The Administrative Discharge GPRA can be completed at the same time.

Care Coordination: Discharge GPRAs Often the Discharge GPRA is completed simultaneously with the Follow-up GPRA when services are no longer being offered to the client. This is a good practice. When services continue after the Follow-up GPRA has been completed, the Discharge GPRA needs to be completed when the services have ended. Use SMART to generate a list of Discharge GPRAs due: Agency>GPRA Discharge Due>Go This will list all clients whose case has not been opened in 30 days or greater by any provider. If all services are completed, then complete the Discharge GPRA.

SMART Log-ins All providers received an Effective October 3, 2013, ATR SMART log-in accounts will be closed for any users who have not logged in during the past 90 days. Also, please remember that when any staff members leave your agency, you must contact the SMART Help Desk to have their log-in accounts closed: or
