Why Join in the Ninth Grade? Less Transition Eligibility IB Trained teachers in 9 th and 10 th grade classes Establish friendships

IB and Athletic Eligibility Students who transfer to an IB school from a school that ends at 8 th grade are automatically eligible for athletics. Students who transfer to an IB school from a high school must sit out a year. Students who drop out of an IB school will have to sit out a year when returning to the home school.

Application Timeline Applications due at respective IB schools by April 4, 2007 Interview and writing sample appointments held on April 10 and 12 Students will be notified of acceptance by the end of April

The Cost of the Program There will be a charge of $800 to the student This cost will cover the price of the IB tests, postage costs, and the costs of educational materials $400 will be due at the beginning of the junior and $400 at the beginning of the senior year.
