How does your college curricula or that of your alma mater, compare and contrast to another curricula? What curricular principles and philosophies are evident?

Develop a syllabus that could be used in a baccalaureate curriculum and that is congruent with your group’s curriculum project.

 Process – team work, collaboration and feedback  Document – components corresponding to an actual baccalaureate curricula/program.  Presentation and dialogue

 Questions posed in the discussion forums reflect key areas of curriculum and program development that a program faculty discuss when developing and evaluating curricula.

 Curriculum development and evaluation is one of the major responsibilities of faculty and an area of faculty governance in higher education.  This course will foster your knowledge of curriculum/program development and evaluation. In turn, this knowledge can help you increase curriculum quality in higher education and meet stakeholder needs.
